You can delete your account directly from the Iqwat app. This will permanently remove all your personal data inclkuding profile details, reels, comments, likes, saved items and family member connections.
Steps to Delete via the App:
1. Open the Iqwat App on your mobile device.
2. Log in to your Iqwat account (if not already logged in).
3. Tap your profile icon at the bottom navigation bar to go to your profile page.
4. Tap on “Manage Account” from the options list.
5. Inside the Manage Account section, tap “Delete My Account.”
6. Follow the on-screen instructions:
A warning message will appear stating that deletion is permanent and irreversible.
Confirm by selecting “Permanently Delete Account.”
7. Once confirmed, your account will be scheduled for deletion. All data will be fully removed from our servers within 30 days.
Web-Based Deletion Request
If you prefer not to delete your account in-app, you can request deletion through the Iqwat website.
Steps to Submit a Web Deletion Request:
Visit the Data Deletion Request page on the Iqwat website.
Enter the email address associated with your Iqwat account.
Click “Submit Deletion Request.”
You will receive a confirmation email to verify the request.
Once confirmed, your account and all associated data will be deleted permanently.
What Happens Next?
You’ll receive a confirmation email asking you to verify your deletion request.
Upon confirmation, your entire account and data will be permanently deleted.
This includes your profile, activity history, notifications, connections, and preferences.
Important Information
Irreversible Deletion:
Once deletion is confirmed, all data is permanently deleted and cannot be recovered.
Third-Party Sign-ins:
If you signed up using Google, Facebook, or Apple ID, you still need to follow these instructions to delete your Iqwat account.
