As Kashmiri Pandits World-Wide are celebrating the 400th birth year of Mother Roop Bhawani we felt it was our foremost duty to highlight the same on our platform.

Mata Roop Bhawani was the embodiment of the Holy Mother of the universe In the human form. She achieved the pinnacle of Yoga through the grace of her Guru and father Pt. Madhav Joo. Through an austere abhyasa and renunciation she became the living mother of the universe and crowds would flock to her to be around her.

The science of Yoga has been taken to its highest purity in Kashmir by many Kashmiri Pandit saints. Many of our saints like Mata Roop Bhawani were perfected Siddhas who lived amongst people in simplicity. This has been the trend for centuries in Kashmir. As iqwat we want to preserve and bring the life stories of these spiritual masters to our youth and next generation. A section in iqwat App will be dedicated to Kashmiri Pandit spirituality and places of significance. A body of work is also on way to summarise Kashmir Shaivism in snippets and in easy to understand format so that our youth can appreciate the deep philosophical and spiritual basis of our community.
