3. Who can use this website
iqwat.com is for adults 18 years and older. If you are below 18, please ask a parent or guardian to use the site on your behalf. Certain features (such as the community lead-gen form) are intended for members of the Kashmiri Pandit community and require you to self-declare so. We rely on this declaration in good faith.
For donations: Iqwat Foundation does not currently hold a registration under the Foreign Contribution (Regulation) Act, 2010. Donations are accepted only from Indian citizens. We will update this section the moment our FCRA registration is granted.

5. Our content and intellectual property
All text, images, illustrations, videos, code, design, and audio on iqwat.com — including the Iqwat name, the chinar leaf identity, the typographic system, the Sharada-script ornamentation, and the heritage content — are the property of Iqwat Foundation or our licensors and are protected by Indian and international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.
You may view, download, and share our public content for personal, non-commercial, community-educational purposes provided you credit “Iqwat Foundation” and link back to the source page. Any other use — including reproduction, modification, distribution, public display, or commercial use — requires our prior written permission. Email hello@iqwat.com to request permission.
6. Donations
Donations to Iqwat Foundation are voluntary, charitable contributions used in furtherance of the Foundation’s objects. Specifically: building and maintaining the Iqwat digital platform, organising the Iqwat KP Business Conclave, and channelling surplus to specialist Kashmiri Pandit organisations doing focused work in health, temple preservation, education, community matrimony, and similar causes.
Refunds, eligibility, and the 80G tax-deduction process are governed by our Donation Refund Policy. Please read that document before donating.
7. Community communication
When you submit the “Join Iqwat” form, you consent to receive occasional communications from us about Conclaves, programmes, volunteering opportunities, and community updates. You may unsubscribe at any time by replying to any of our emails or by emailing hello@iqwat.com.
8. Disclaimers
We try our best to make every page on iqwat.com accurate and helpful — particularly the heritage content (temples, history, cuisine, language, literature) — but we make no warranty that the information is exhaustive, current, or error-free. The heritage content is curated from public sources, scholarship, and community memory; it is offered in good faith and for educational purposes, and should not be relied upon as authoritative for legal, religious, or scholarly determinations.
The website is provided “as is.” We do not warrant that it will be available without interruption, free of errors, or free of security vulnerabilities, though we work continuously to keep it stable and secure.
9. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Iqwat Foundation and its directors, officers, employees, volunteers, and contractors will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or in connection with your use of this website. Our total cumulative liability to you for any direct damages arising out of these terms or your use of the website will not exceed the total amount of donations (if any) you have made to the Foundation in the 12 months preceding the claim.
10. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Iqwat Foundation and its representatives from any claim, demand, loss, liability, or expense (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of your breach of these terms, your misuse of the website, or your violation of any applicable law.
11. Third-party links and services
iqwat.com links to and embeds content from third parties (e.g., YouTube videos of past Conclaves, Razorpay for payments, App Store and Play Store badges, sister-organisation websites). We are not responsible for the content, practices, or policies of those third parties. Their terms and privacy policies will apply when you interact with them.
12. Iqwat mobile app
The Iqwat mobile application (available on the Apple App Store and Google Play Store) is a separate service operated by Iqwat Foundation with its own Terms and Privacy Policy, published within the app stores and inside the app. Those terms govern your use of the app. These website terms do not.
13. Changes to these terms
We may revise these Terms of Use from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top of this page will reflect the most recent version. Material changes will be notified to active members of our mailing list. Your continued use of the website after any change constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
14. Governing law and jurisdiction
These Terms of Use are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any dispute arising out of or in connection with these terms or your use of the website shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Courts at Gurugram, Haryana.
15. Severability and waiver
If any provision of these terms is held by a court of competent jurisdiction to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect. A failure or delay by us to enforce any provision is not a waiver of our right to enforce it later.
16. Contact
Questions, concerns, or feedback about these terms are welcome.
